TerraSearch® Mineral Search Alert added to PSG Connect
We are delighted to announce our collaboration with mining risk specialists, Terrafirma, to bring new services to PSG clients.
PSG are the first provider to integrate the TerraSearch® mineral search alert live in our online ordering platform PSG Connect.
TerraSearch® joins our existing range of Search Alerts and will flag the risk from over 60 minerals and mining hazards, providing an instant answer to potential risk factors from past and present mining activity.
The search alert is provided free of charge to PSG clients and was developed to support robust due diligence and risk management. The search alert tool will make two recommendations:
- No Risk – Recommending a TerraSearch® Assure No Risk certificate covering past and present mineral extraction. This certificate provides low-cost comfort to the purchaser, backed by £10m Professional Indemnity per certificate.
- Risk Identified – Recommending a TerraSearch® Assess report. This is a professional desktop assessment by a mining geologist which comprehensively locates and assesses the risk to property and land from past, present and planned mineral extraction hazards, all in one search report.
Terrafirma is an Associate member of CoPSO. All of their searches meet the quality standards of The Search Code, as regulated by Property Codes Compliance Board. All Terrasearch® searches are covered by £10m Professional Indemnity.
