Practical Tips on Legal Compliance and Risk Management

Norman Denton from Legal Eye will present a 1 hour CPD covering some topical issues of the moment, including: 

• Why is risk management and compliance important to business?  

We’ll explore some of the common pitfalls found in Client Care Letters and Terms of Business – and some of the recent regulatory changes affecting these documents and the service you provide to clients.

• Risk Management – what should we be doing? 

We take a practical look at risk management.  What is a material and non-material breach?  What is required of a File Review?

Finally we consider some of the current key risk areas highlighted in the SRA Risk Outlook 2015 / 16 including Information Security, Cybercrime and Bogus Firms.
