PSG are delighted to announce a free half-day CPD seminar in Exeter. This event will bring you up to date with key issues affecting Solicitors and Conveyancers today.

Energy Infrastructure including “Fracking”, Flooding and other Environmental Issues

Landmark will present 1 hour’s CPD

Landmark

This CPD will focus on the increasing relevance of environmental issues in the conveyancing process. The recent update to the TA6 form and the Practice Note issued by the Law Society has highlighted Flooding as an important issue. Alternative sources of energy including wind farms, nuclear and shale gas and the infrastructure required to support these are causing increasing concern. This presentation will explore the implications of these on homebuyers and owners as well as providing an update on contaminated land issues.

  • Insuring against risk – providing your clients peace of mind

Implementing the COLP journey

Legal Eye will present 1 hours CPD

Legal Eye

This CPD will focus on areas of concern for the COLP in their Risk Management. The presentation will explore common pitfalls in your outward facing documentation, what defines Risk Management and what tools does a COLP need to consider to discharge their role effectively, including some key findings from Legal Eye’s increasing engagements with law firms.
