Simplifying Your Search Pack

Landmark’s RiskView Residential (RVR) provides conveyancers with an all-in-one environmental report and replaces the need to carry out additional searches following a result of the core environmental (contaminated land) search.

In this session we will cover the practical benefits of the RiskView report as it assesses 12 key environmental risks and has the most detailed flood analysis available, incorporating manual expert reviews at no extra cost, for more first time passes.

RVR provides concise and easy to communicate conclusions relating to contaminated land, flood risk, natural and man-made ground hazards as well identifying potential energy & infrastructure features; and if requested, will include residential and non-residential planning applications.

RiskView Residential gives home buyers the choice of reviewing the search via a unique online viewer as well as through the search report itself. The online viewer contains interactive maps, Google Streetview and clear information for the conveyancer and homebuyer.

Kate Burt, Senior Compliance Manager for Legal Eye Ltd will be discussing the practical implications of GDPR for the legal sector and what firms can expect in the early days and in the years to come.

Development and it's impact

Solicitors are increasingly being expected to advise their clients on development related issues.

The objective of this session is to cover planning and development risks that your clients are exposed to, and elaborate on what guidance you should be offering. It includes recent case studies that demonstrate what is so often missed.

See how a developer views land and the very real impacts of construction on existing property. Understand how seemingly benign locations are transformed, leaving solicitors and their clients exposed to financial damage. We will look at:

  • Background of development culture
  • Development in the UK
  • National planning policy framework
  • Advice to clients
  • Examples of risk and hidden value
  • How safe is that view?

Places are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The session will run from 9.15am until 12.30pm. Registration is from 8.45am. Refreshments and a light breakfast included.

Don't miss out, book your place today! We look forward to seeing you there!
