PSG invite you to join us for an informative session looking at key topics affecting conveyancing in Portsmouth.
With a focus on development and regeneration across the city it is important for conveyancing practitioners to understand how development can impact on their client’s purchase. We have two key speakers from Portsmouth City Council and we will also have an update from HMLR on the digitisation and migration of local land charges and look at how this may impact the conveyancing process.
The sessions will take place at The Spindle Room, 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour, Portsmouth and will offer 3 hours of free training. We will feature the following topics:
Cllr Donna Jones
Leader of Portsmouth City Council – The Vision for Portsmouth
Claire Upton-Brown
Assistant Director of Culture and City Development – The Community Infrastructure Levy
Jamie Winch
Her Majesty’s Land Registry – Local Land Charges update
Gill Parish
Her Majesty’s Land Registry – Requisitions and how to avoid them
Places are limited so book soon to avoid disppointment.
Refreshments will be available and parking is free of charge at the venue.
