The latest Title and Legal Indemnity Insurance updates to improve cover
PSG Financial Services, in conjunction with their partners at CLS, will enhance its Title and Legal Indemnity Insurance service from the 1st September by improving its online offering.
The service will now offer 22 additional policies online. In addition, changes have been made to policy names to improve clarity. The enhancements also include changes to the information clients will receive alongside their chosen policy.
In preparation for the Insurance Distribution Directive, which is effective from 1st October 2018, and following consultation on the sale of insurance in the EU, all CLS policies supplied by PSG Financial Services will now incorporate an “Insurance Product Information Document”.
This document replaces the ‘Policy Summary’ and clearly displays, in a universal format, important information such as what the policy covers, and what is and isn’t insured, giving your client greater understanding of their purchased policy.
In addition, all existing online policies will receive an upgrade to the Statement of Facts, simplifying the insurance ordering process and helping to reduce the need for a bespoke quotation.
